Big changes happening to the e. scott shop!
After 16 years in our cozy Somerville studio, it’s time to make a change and I'm heading to the northshore! Beginning in September 2026, the e. scott originals shop will now be located at 85 Main St. in downtown Amesbury, MA.
What will this mean?
It means... that I am not able to take any NEW meetings in July or August as those will be the months that I focus finishing up current projects and start the renovations of the new space and the move itself. As soon as I have an opening date, I’ll open up the books for new meetings at the new location. The Somerville shop will remain open, normal hours in July, but by pickup appointment only in August. If you’d like to get on the waitlist for September, send us an email and we’ll notify you as soon as Amesbury dates are available.
It means... that you’ll have to hop in the car and come see us! Amesbury is full of amazing small businesses- restaurants, farms, breweries, artists, vintage shops, and clothing boutiques. I’ll be doing the same thing I always have, custom and ready to wear jewelry all handmade in the shop. All inventory will also be available on the website to purchase at anytime.
It means... I'll have twice the space for our store and workshop and also space to teach classes! Yup, starting in 2027 I’ll be teaching small group classes, like “Make your own hoops”, “Build your own ring stack” ,“Old gold Beach Rocks”, etc. More emails to come on that...
I can’t thank you enough for the support, love, kindness and community that I have been shown while I’ve turned my dream into a reality here in Somerville. There have been thousands of customers, pieces of jewelry and memories made at 199b Highland Ave. and I feel so lucky for it all.
All the best,
-e.
P.S. While I’m sad to leave my little shop on the block, I am so excited to announce that my longtime assistant, Jaime Goodhue of Featherwind Forge, will be taking over the space and starting their shop owner journey! They are hoping to create a space full of nature and whimsy, featuring their own jewelry collection as well as home goods, artworks, accessories and more! They’ll be hosting a weekend long tea party in mid-September and they would love for you to drop by! Stay tuned for more info, or pop by the 199b Highland Ave shop!
